moppet is an app for keeping a private, shared record of a child's care across a household, provided by Roebling Foundry LLC, a limited liability company registered in New York, United States ("moppet", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use moppet. Questions: support@mymoppet.com.
Your privacy is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
moppet is a logging and coordination tool, not a medical product. It is not:
The reminders, predictions, summaries, and defaults moppet shows are conveniences based on the data you enter, not clinical recommendations. Always use your own judgment, and contact a healthcare professional for any medical question or concern. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Some information you log (for example temperature, medications, growth, health notes) concerns your child's health. moppet helps you record it. It does not interpret it or advise you on it.
One feature comes close to the line, so it is worth stating plainly. Where a published medicine label or health-authority chart covers your region, moppet can show you the row that chart prints for your child's weight and age, and where you then type a millilitre amount several times larger than that row, it flags it. That is quoting a published chart, not giving you a dose, and you should always check your own bottle's label. Where moppet has no row to show you, it says which of three things is true, because they are not the same. Below the age that medicine's label sets, it says to ask your pediatrician. With no weight recorded for your child, it asks you for a weight. Where the chart prints no row at your child's weight, it says so and points you back to the dose on your own bottle, or the dose your pediatrician gave you: a missing row is an absence of reference data, not a warning.
moppet's reminders, predicted next-feed, diaper, and nap times, running timers, and lock-screen and Live Activity displays are best-effort and not guaranteed. They can be delayed, missed, stale, device-local, interrupted, duplicated, or incorrect, because of device settings, notification permissions, background limits, connectivity, time-zone changes, or the timing and accuracy of the data entered. Do not rely on moppet as your only reminder for anything that matters, such as feeding or medication. You remain responsible for reviewing entries and for the care decisions you make.
You can edit or delete entries, export your data (Settings › Privacy & your data, which gives you your child's logged entries as a CSV, one child at a time), and delete your account (Settings › Account › Delete account) at any time. Deletion is permanent. See the Privacy Policy, sections 7 and 8, for backup roll-off and what happens to shared households.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe puts other people or the service at risk.
You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you: store, sync, display it to your household's caregivers, and process it through the processors listed in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or use it to build advertising profiles.
moppet offers an auto-renewable "full access" subscription, available as an annual or a monthly plan. One subscription covers your whole household, every caregiver and every child.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, moppet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that reminders or predictions will be timely or correct (see sections 3 and 4). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
To the extent permitted by law, Roebling Foundry LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss arising from reliance on reminders, predictions, or other app output, or from data entered by you or other caregivers in your household. Some jurisdictions (including parts of the EU, EEA, and US states) do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.
We may update these Terms as moppet evolves and will change the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will tell you in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the change.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you keep the mandatory protections and the right to bring claims under the law of your country of residence. Nothing here removes those rights.
